Make-up by One Direction // Review and Giveaway

If you haven't heard about the newest brand of make-up soon to hit stores, then you are surely missing out! One Direction has decided to take a step away from their musical talents to launch a brand new make-up line. This line, called The Looks Collection, which hits U.S. stores August 11 (Macy's) and August 25, (Stage Stores, Dillard's, Beauty Brands, and Lord and Taylor) is comprised of three different styles based on each of the band's three albums. "Up All Night," "Take Me Home," and "Midnight Memories" are the three styles that come in their own collectible tin.

Up All Night

This kit is designed to show off your fun, flirty, and girly side. It includes "Taken" - Liquilights Glow Gloss: Powerhouse glitter pink gloss that glows to neon orange under UV light, 4 + 1 Eye Shadow Palette in playful blues and versatile neutrals, "I Should Have Kissed You" - bubblegum pink creme lipstick, "Little Black Dress" volumizing mascara in perfectly black, "Na Na Na" Aqua-blue metallic chrome nail varnish, "Stand Up" dark denim eye and body crayon, and a 5 piece decorator stencil set to decorate yourself, your stuff, and your friends with One Direction doodles. 

Take Me Home

This kit is designed to help you achieve the ultimate girl-next-door look. It includes  "Kiss You" - Liquilights Glow Gloss: Orange glitter rush lip gloss that glows to neon yellow under UV light, 4 + 1 Eye Shadow Palette in the perfect nude shades, "Last First Kiss" - nude-pink sheer lipstick, "Little Black Dress" volumizing mascara in perfectly black, "Live While We're Young" multi-dimensional gold glitter nail varnish, "I Wish" a warm chocolate brown eye and body crayon, and a 5 piece decorator stencil set to decorate yourself, your stuff, and your friends with One Direction doodles.

Midnight Memories

This kit is designed to assist you in perfecting your inner rock and roll look. I was lucky enough to have been sent my own Take Me Home kit from BrandBacker. I was ecstatic to un-box it and try it out for an interview I had yesterday! The eye-shadows and lip gloss was perfect with my outfit and the make-up lasted well throughout the interview. My one complaint would be that the mascara seems to do more lengthening than volumizing so it wasn't quite thick enough for my taste. However, I will definitely be using this make-up kit for all my simple girl-next-door looks.
